How can it not be the most wonderful time of the year when Philippines’ biggest performer and crowed favorite couples hang out together? It was a fun night with Coca Cola #TagahatidPasko Concert at MOA Concert Grounds last Saturday Dec 3.
It was also one of the most heart warming celebration for me as well. I thought it would be like one of those Concerts I’ve been to, with the usual blogger duties, photo here and there but it was a good day for me as I saw some of my friends in the industry and reminded me how this people behind the scene work hard to support other people’s dream. The hashtag it self is also a tear jerking one, #TagaHatidPasko who then is your Taga Hatid Pasko?
Happiness Behind The Scene
When I started seeing production or live performance behind the scene, I would always ask my self, “Sino kaya nag momotivate sa performer na to?” (What motivates this person?). Im sure you your self happen to be aware of those people around us who give their service to the fullest, may it be our school janitors, perky vendor, our Parents and the likes. But questioning the source of their strength that leads them to share joy or commit them selves just to serve us is a very inspirational one.
At some point making other people smile is the best feeling to have, even a simple act of sharing someone a bottle of coke.
Since Im good with the photos I have, I walked around then bummed into my friend Carvey(Ylona Garcia’s Stylist), then she took me, at their tent for a little catching up since we hardly see each other especially in seasons like this. We were talking then suddenly Ylona and Bailey stepped in the tent since they’re done with their performance, then I showed Ylona some of the photos I took before Carvey took me, then Carvey and I went back to our chit chat then all of a sudden I noticed she started taking selfies hahahah that was really adorable!
I remember that even on the 1st Coke Event this year, where Ylona was introduced as one of the ambassadors, while I was taking photos, Ylona approached me and gave me a bottle of Coke and in that moment it really felt so good.
A simple act that can really inspire people.
So I requested if I can take a photo of her and Bailey, yet she pull Carvey in. It wasn’t scripted, but the simple photo next to your stylist who works hard to prepare what you’ll wear and the effort to return all your outfit is not an easy task and I believe in Ylona when she demanded to take a photo with Carvey instead, that’s what I call #TagaHatidPasko and I was crying inside huhuhu.
Sinong Taga Hatid ng Pasok mo?
Sometimes even if you arent the benefactor, yet once you know the reason why their working hard can be contagious enough to inspire you to also work hard and become the Taga Hatid Pasok in your own community. One of this is my favorite Indie Singer Composer, REESE LANSANGAN.
Recently Im not happy with Pinoy Pop songs yet there are a lot in the underground scene that really works hard to raise the level of performance. And I really proud of Reese, she’s one worth following at Spotify. I feel so proud as a Filipino every time we hit the same event and I’d stop and watch her perform.
TagahatidPasko sa Tahanan
Lastly, I really love it when I see this girl! My favorite Model, Bread Winner: Sirene Suton 😀
She works hard to compensate for her family’s need. Probably a modern Maria Mercedes, hahaha she works hard and is going places and balance her life as a daughter, her story is for her to tell.
One of my inspirations in the industry.
I didnt expect to have this post to be a little more emotional, but just as God sent Jesus in this world, there’s always that someone that sacrifices and goes all their way out just to make this season special.
Share us who makes your Christmas special by using the hash tag #TagahatidPasko 😀
