Hoegaarden, my go to beer when Im in much needed relaxation after working hours, invited us for a fun sunset party, along with a very good news! The festivity toasted Hoegaarden Original White Ale’s Gold award in the Belgian-Style Witbier Category of the 2016 World Beer Cup, which bested 77 other witbier brands.
Considered one of the most stringent global beer competitions to date, the World Beer Cup evaluates beers around the world and recognizes the most outstanding breweries and their beers every two years. And this good news deserves a good roof deck party at the Manila House in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
What Makes Hoegaarden Witbier Good?
During the party, here’s what I like about the gazillion words the hosts said “Recognized by connoisseurs as the original Belgian White Beer, Hoegaarden Witbier – biere blanche, is esteemed for its distinct taste and flavor palette which consists of Curacao orange peel and coriander that lend it a light and refreshing flavor and smooth taste.” No wonder it’s my favorite beer! I really like it especially when I sip it really slow, the more it gets exposed in the air, it taste better.
Anway, I wish my other priorities we’rent scheduled on the same day, I arrived really early tho there were activities prepared for the early birds, so I did tried some hahahha!!!
Originally, the plan was “to take with you the air plant that was attached to your invite” then mounted in the special case that was made available in the event. which Im really sorry coz I really tried to have some fun, I forgot to take photos lol.
There were also tita yet challenging side activities which I didnt event bother trying since I really would love to catch up with my blogger friends.
One more thing, Hoegaarden and other World Beer Cup℠ winners were selected by an international panel of 253 beer judges from 31 countries. Regarded as the “Olympics of Beer Competition,” the World Beer Cup℠ assessed an impressive field of 6,596 entries from 1,907 breweries in 55 countries. The awards were presented during the World Beer Cup℠ ceremony at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
No wonder they loved extending that winning moment that resulted to setting this sun set party, which I heard ended until 11pm and I wish I knew so I did went back and splurge with the over flowing drinks.
Stay tuned since my Youtube Fan Festival experience will soon go live after this!
