As a Yuppie and a Freelancer, I can say, contemporary jobs are one hefty multitasking work work work work work, and there are days that requires us to drive into multiple locations,  especially driving now a days are both Emotionally and Physically demanding and you cant deny it is one of the causes most drivers are short fused, which relates to increase in Traffic Incidents. Good thing Snickers  Philippines, Launched their Dont Drive Hungry Initiative.

April 23 at the Capitol Commons Carpark, Snickers gave away free temporary license plates to car owners who Pre-register at http://dontdrivehungry.com.ph/ on the given time, They were accommodated and are happy (and I was so ENVY) with their limited edition Snickers Temporary Plate.

Why Do you Need to Keep a Snickers Bar?

Long hours spent in traffic can lead to hunger, which can negatively affect the mood of a driver and the quality of driving; by giving out free temporary license plates, Snickers wants to remind motorists not to drive hungry. Basically the plate reminds other drivers “Not To Drive Hungry” since if you’re stuck on a Congested Traffic and I believe a reminder is best placed on a License Plate, So I suggest a bar of Snickers as a life saver, let me explain it below 😀

Basically for a Starving Lion stuck in a Traffic and is up for a lengthily Appointment, you need all the Energy to Burn! all this ingredients can be a good reliever (I repeat– RELIEVER) Proteins, Calcium, and an additional Dairy from Nougat is the best option rather than having an empty stomach. I hate to pretend but there are really persons who cant feel the hunger while they are “in the zone” performing their job, then they’ll find them selves skipping lunch and afternoon snacks or worst…”DINNER”.

Recently, a Friend in the Blogger/PR community just passed away due to Complications with Ulcer, and this campaign is so timely especially for me who have been into a number of  Acid Re-fluxes, and  I realized that you really need to choose wisely over “Now vs The urgent”. you may be counting your sugar intake whatsoever and chose to have an empty stomach but I tell you….check my next point 😀

In Moderation

My brother who majors in Pharmacy once told me “Kuya, Do you know what’s the difference of Toxic and Medicine?” and the answer was an eye opener, “DOSAGE” he said. I know there are health enthusiast who will critic this blog but I still believe in the line “Burn What You Eat” and in choosing from “Now vs The Urgent” I choose not to starve. Everything comes in moderation (Even Love, lol).

Snickers :Don’t Drive Hungry Initiative, is a road safety initiative reminding drivers not to let themselves get hungry while they’re on the road. This is for the wellness of our Traffic Flow and also our own.
