“It takes an Artist to Inspire Another” This is the line I always share to my colleague, Just the same as how I spent last week, I started it by attending Oruha’s Mandala Art Exhibition.
If you noticed, my Henna tattoo designs are based on traditional Indian Henna designs, similar to Oruha san, Mandala is based on round patterns that represents the emanating powers of the cosmos or the universe. One way or another, I felt this strong artistic connections to her so I definitely paid her gallery a visit.
Mr. Kazuma Matsuda giving an opening speech.
Ohura her self sharing here deep thoughts especially regarding to the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda
During her Speech, if there’s one line I really love is “Everybody can find light in one self”. As an artist, I feel so inspired to see someone who performs her role as an artist in difficult times like this yet accompanied with a pure compassion towards the survivors. Im giving you a two thumbs up Oruha san 😀
With my co-DavaoBloggers Jonas and Debbie, we grab the opportunity to take a photo with Oruha san :
It’s pleasant to see artists that brings joy to everyone. Well she’s just living it up to what she is fighting for, which is “A Light in the Dark”.
Me and Oru-Chan bwahahah!!!
I took a photo of some of the Mandala Artworks displayed in SM LANANG, Im sorry I cant zoom it in for more intricate details eheheh
For the whole week, Oruha has an onsite charity painting session at SM Lanang Premier and donates all the income to the victims of yolanda survivors.
For now I’ll leave you with all my shots, I’ll try to post links connected to her online gallery for more inspiration 😀
